Here's the lite version of the game client for Atlantica Online, the strategic, turn-based MMORPG from Ndoors. The Lite client will allow you to immediately jump into the action, while the remainder of the game downloads in the background. You can play through a significant portion of the game before needing the full version, plus the Lite version is much smaller than the full client.

Here's an update for the Matrix Games edition of Field of Glory, Slitherine's gaming system. The comprehensive 1.1.2 update will update both Field of Glory and its expansion, Rise of Rome, and comes with a fix for a crash that may occur when routing units, a number of new scenarios by users, in addition to a few other fixes and tweaks.

This I did not expect. Warner Bros. putting their cash into yet another Lord of the Rings game even though the franchise isn't really as 'hot' as it used to be when Peter Jackson's movie trilogy hit the big screen.
